In the last year, Zika virus has rapidly spread in South and Central America and could be a real threat to transfusion blood and blood components in the US and its territories. This program will discuss the performance characteristics of an investigational nucleic acid test (NAT) for Zika virus RNA along with an update on NAT blood screening for Zika virus in the US under an Investigational New Drug (IND) protocol. Costs: $25/person includes limited access and CEUs for one person.
